Archos 70 Internet Tablet 250GB

French company Archos have been making some interesting devices for some time now, with entertainment very much at the forefront of their ideas.

We've known it was coming, we just didn't know when. Archos have finally released their internet tablet, the Archos 5 and we've got all the details. Available in two different styles - either with a flash-based drive or a slightly heavier and thicker hard drive - the Archos 5 features a 4.8" LCD touchscreen with 800 x400 pixel resolution. The flash drive will give you 8-64GB of storage capacity and the hard drive a massive 160-500GB.

All the smart money is on a slew of tablet-based devices being released over the next couple of years. We've already seen Microsoft's Courier device, the Apple tablet rumours just keep on coming and the smaller Archos 5 was released last month. Now, it's the turn of C-MOTech to show off what they've been working on - and mighty fine it is to.

The CeBIT conference in Hannover is only 10 days away, but we're already hearing rumours about what's on the menu..............

Google's Android operating system has already made in-roads to platforms other than the smartphone market: it's already a feature of Acer's new netbook, which is available for pre-order and coming soon to e-readers from Barnes & Noble and Spring Design.
