Review: Mitsubishi HC3800 HD Projector

Mitsubishi's HC3800 home projector is a nicely-priced system displaying at 1080p Full HD, which offers a good alternative to large HD TVs for those seeking the big screen experience from the comfort of your own home.

Mitsubishi boldly claim that the HC3800 is "what movie theater projectionists use when they go home", and we've managed to get hold of one to see if there's any truth behind the blurb and find out what you can expect.

The Mitsubishi HC3800 is a fairly standard-looking projector, with a small, shiny black body offering the user a discreet yet reasonably stylish addition to the living room. The projector comes boxed with a remote control and 2 x AA batteries, a 1.8m power cord, RGB signal cable, lens cap and a replacement lamp attachment.
