Apple's iMacs have garnered a healthy reputation as working computers over the years thanks to their power, dependability and reliability, with no shortage of style, either.
But when Apple released a new batch of updated iMacs in the Autumn of last year, it seemed that they had something else in mind; a serious forage into the world of home entertainment.
Available with 21.5" or 27" widescreen displays which have earned rave reviews from all over, you can either opt for entry-level versions or souped-up, top-of-the-range, borderline-scary and quite-possibly-planet-destroying-Death-Star-like versions configured to your liking. All for a cost, of course.
At around £1400 and with little or absolutely no hope of The Boss getting some in for the office to use, I managed to persuade one of my far more successful friends to let me have a go on his brand new, fresh-out-of-the-box iMac......here's how I found it.................
