Humax HD-FOX T2 Freeview HD Set Top Box

We've known it was coming for a while now and, as promised, another Humax Freeview HD box is about to hit the streets....

"Retuning" was the big buzzword flying around in September of last year, as we were continually prompted to make sure we retuned our TVs and Freeview boxes. But why did we have to bother? One of the major reasons, was to make room on the digital highways for Freeview HD.....

In preparation for the addition of HD channels to Freeview and also to allow more people throughout the country to watch Channel 5, we'll all have to retune our Freeview boxes or TVs tomorrow lunchtime. If you forget, you'll probably lose Channel 5 and won't have access to new channel, Quest. "Not such a bad thing", I hear you thinking - but you will also lose some BBC radio stations and possibly ITV3 and 4.

US company Elgato recently announced the launch of the world's smallest Freeview receiver; the Eye TV DTT Deluxe. Available for £79.95, the Eye TV plugs straight into your TV-enabled PC, laptop or Mac and lets you watch all the content available from wherever you are whilst at home or on the move.

Depending on which area of the UK you live in, you may be able to tune in to Freeview HD from tomorrow...................
